An opportunity has become available within the New Business team for a professional and customer-oriented individual who possesses excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in client engagement and administrative accuracy within the insurance environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for contacting clients to confirm their uptake of policies and ensuring that all information captured aligns accurately with system records. Duties include verifying client personal details, confirming policy information, requesting and completing full ID numbers for members and beneficiaries, and validating banking details, debit order information, salary details, and policy commencement dates. You will also refer policy cancellations to the relevant personnel and assist clients with requests to add or remove lives and benefits or amend premiums in coordination with the responsible insurance agent. Additional responsibilities include processing changes to payment methods, capturing new banking details, reloading debit orders, performing same-day deductions upon client request, and responding professionally to SMS and email communication.
The minimum requirement for this position is Grade 12. Applicants must have between two to three years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the insurance or financial services environment. A Long-Term Insurance Certificate will be advantageous and strengthen your application.
In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally will be essential when engaging with clients to confirm sensitive information and address queries. Accuracy is critical, as errors in policy or banking details may impact client satisfaction and operational processes.
