The organisation is currently seeking a dedicated Handyman to ensure the smooth and consistent resolution of maintenance issues logged during shifts or communicated verbally. The purpose of this role is to maintain the hotel’s infrastructure and ensure that all facilities remain fully operational, safe, and aligned with guest service standards. The successful candidate will work across various areas of the hotel, including security-related maintenance, pools, grounds, guest rooms, and other operational spaces.

Responsibilities include attending to general maintenance and repair tasks to ensure minimal disruption to guests and staff. The role involves basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, decorating, and other general DIY duties. The Handyman must respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and ensure that repairs are completed to a high standard. Maintaining a proactive approach to identifying potential problems before they escalate is essential to ensuring guest satisfaction and operational continuity. The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The qualification requirements for this role include a Matric certificate and one to two years of previous handyman or maintenance experience.
