The company is seeking a Metal Coating Line Operator to monitor and control process parameters in line with company standards and required specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the Metal Coating Line process parameters to ensure compliance with company standards and operational requirements. Duties include inspecting work equipment regularly and reporting any machine malfunctions to prevent production downtime. The role requires continuous monitoring of the production line to identify and correct deviations promptly, ensuring that output meets quality specifications. The incumbent will assist with start-up and shut-down activities, as well as support strip break repairs to minimise disruptions. Accurate reporting of operating parameters is essential to maintain production records and performance tracking. Adherence to safe work practices and maintaining good housekeeping standards are mandatory components of the position. The operator must ensure full compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental standards and procedures, including 6S requirements. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment free of spillages and obstacles is critical. The role also requires strict adherence to SAFAL Steel operating standards, working manuals, instructions, and standard operating procedures.

The qualification requirements for this position include a Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and Science. Candidates should have three to five years of industrial experience as an operator within a production or operations environment. Strong technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues are essential for success in this role.
