The organisation is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to support the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. The successful candidate will supervise daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that all spaces meet established lodge standards. Responsibilities include ensuring that rooms are prepared to the required standard for guest arrivals and evening turn-down services. The Housekeeping Supervisor will conduct detailed room inspections and quality checks to maintain presentation excellence. Managing linen, cleaning supplies, and stock control is essential to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. The role also involves training, guiding, and supporting housekeeping staff to maintain productivity and service consistency. Preparing duty rosters, managing staff attendance, and maintaining effective communication with team members form part of the supervisory function. Close collaboration with the front office and maintenance teams is required to ensure smooth guest experiences and timely resolution of maintenance issues. The incumbent must ensure that health, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently upheld and handle lost and found procedures professionally and in accordance with company policy.

The qualification requirements for this position include a minimum of two to three years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisory role. Experience within a lodge or safari lodge environment will be highly advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of housekeeping standards and procedures, with exceptional attention to detail aligned to luxury lodge expectations. Good communication skills in English are essential. Applicants must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays and be comfortable working in a remote lodge environment. Strong leadership skills are required, with the ability to confidently supervise and motivate a diverse team. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, proactive, reliable, organised, calm under pressure during busy changeovers, and possess a guest-focused mindset with pride in presentation.
