Lesaka Technologies in Johannesburg is Offering Paid Internship Programme For 2026

Applicants must be South African citizens aged 18–29, recent graduates with a minimum of a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, currently unemployed, and not studying full-time during the programme. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with a proactive and adaptable mindset. Qualifications may include a Bachelor of Commerce in Industrial Psychology or relevant Human Capital degree, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Arts in Digital Marketing and Communication, BCom in Operations Management or Business Administration, or BCom in Accounting.

This is a 12-month paid internship based in Johannesburg, starting on 1 or 15 March 2026. The programme is designed to provide structured workplace experience within a leading fintech environment. Interns will be placed in relevant departments where they will support daily operations, assist with projects, and contribute to administrative, technical, research, customer service, or business-related tasks aligned with their field of study.

Participants will gain exposure to key areas of the business, including financial services, technology solutions, and operational support functions. Responsibilities may include assisting teams with process improvements, supporting internal reporting, engaging in research activities, and contributing ideas to enhance service delivery. Interns will also participate in training and development workshops aimed at strengthening both technical and soft skills.

The programme includes mentorship, regular feedback, and coaching sessions to support professional growth. Interns will have the opportunity to shadow experienced professionals and develop practical workplace skills that enhance employability within the fintech sector.
