Applicants must have previous experience as a General Worker or Warehouse Assistant. Sales or customer service experience will be an advantage. Candidates must be physically fit and able to perform manual work, have good communication and teamwork skills, and be punctual, reliable, and responsible. Experience in packing, logistics, or warehouse operations is advantageous. A clear criminal record is required, and only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading stock, ensuring that goods are handled safely and efficiently. Duties include packing and preparing customer orders accurately, assisting with stock handling, and maintaining proper warehouse organisation. Attention to detail is important to ensure correct quantities and product quality during packing and dispatch processes.
Maintaining cleanliness and safety within the work area is a key responsibility. The General Worker must ensure that the warehouse environment remains organised and compliant with safety standards to prevent accidents or damage to stock. Supporting daily operational tasks as directed by management is also required.
In addition to warehouse duties, the role may involve assisting customers and supporting basic sales activities when needed. This requires professionalism, clear communication, and a helpful attitude when interacting with customers.
This is a full-time position offering a stable working environment and opportunities for growth within the company. The salary ranges from R5 000,00 to R8 000,00 per month.
