This includes assisting with the loading and offloading of vehicles, ensuring that stock is handled carefully to prevent damage. The role also involves packing yard stock items correctly and maintaining order within the yard area to ensure smooth daily operations. In addition, the incumbent will assist customers and suppliers with queries and product collections, ensuring that service standards remain high at all times.

To qualify for this position, applicants must have completed Grade 12. Product knowledge is required, as the role involves assisting customers with the correct items and ensuring that stock is handled appropriately. A clear understanding of building materials or hardware products will be advantageous in supporting efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities further include cleaning and safekeeping of company vehicles to ensure they remain in good condition and presentable at all times. The role requires completion of Wash Bay activities, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring vehicles are ready for operational use. Maintaining a clean and organised yard environment is essential to promote safety and efficiency within the workplace.
