In this role, you will support various administrative and financial functions within the store. Your responsibilities will include accurate filing of customer invoices, assisting with cycle counts as part of inventory auditing procedures, and organising month-end statements for posting. You will capture GRNs and CVRs into the system, match invoices correctly, and process returns where there are quantity or price discrepancies. Reconciling creditor accounts to supplier statements and investigating variances will form part of your daily financial administration tasks. You will also handle supplier queries professionally and ensure all related documents, including delivery notes and order details, are filed correctly and timeously.

The ideal candidate should have Grade 12 as a minimum requirement, with a qualification in Business Management N4–N6 or Human Resources N4–N6 being highly advantageous. A minimum of three years’ experience in general administration is required, particularly in roles that involve financial capturing, reporting, or HR-related administration. Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data capturing, and the ability to work systematically with records and reports are essential for success in this role.

Beyond financial administration, this position also involves important HR support functions. You will assist with onboarding documentation for new employees, maintain accurate personnel files, manage leave documentation, and support reporting requirements such as skills development and employment equity submissions. Recruitment administration and job advertising support may also be required from time to time. The ability to handle confidential employee information professionally and maintain organised records is critical.

Occasionally, you will step in as a relief receptionist or cashier, representing BUCO in a professional and customer-focused manner. This requires good communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle customer interactions confidently when needed. Balancing administrative responsibilities with front-office support makes this a dynamic and varied position suited to someone adaptable and dependable.

Working at BUCO offers exposure to retail operations, financial processes, and human resources administration within a respected brand.
