Pepkor is looking for a Store Sales Assistant. Applicants must have Matric (Grade 12). Previous sales experience will be advantageous. The successful candidate will provide superior customer service while contributing to the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Assisting management with the daily operations of the store is a key part of this position.
Responsibilities include protecting all company assets, including stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers. The Store Sales Assistant must ensure the effective implementation of company policies and procedures at all times. Maintaining correct store and department layouts in line with company standards is essential to drive sales performance and enhance customer engagement.
Administrative accuracy is also required, particularly in handling stockroom processes, mark-downs, and lay-bys. The role involves ensuring effective merchandise replenishment so that products are always available and properly displayed. Maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout the store is necessary to create a clean and organised retail environment.
