At Freedom Stationery, operational precision and structured warehouse coordination are essential to maintaining efficient factory performance. The company is currently seeking an experienced, highly organised, and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to support warehouse, receiving, and administrative operations at the Cornubia Factory. This position is well suited to a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, and effective cross-departmental communication.

The successful candidate will coordinate and administer the receiving of both local and imported materials, ensuring that all deliveries are verified against the relevant documentation. Processing Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) accurately and timeously is a key responsibility, as inventory accuracy directly impacts production continuity. The role requires conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records. Close liaison with transporters regarding delivery schedules and estimated times of arrival is essential to prevent disruptions. The incumbent will also communicate with Procurement regarding incoming materials and resolve any discrepancies identified during receiving.

Proper stock control forms a central component of this position. The Admin Clerk must ensure that stock is stacked correctly according to stock codes, height restrictions, and safety regulations. Generating, verifying, and filing all receiving, dispatch, and compliance documentation is critical for audit readiness and operational transparency. The role also includes coordinating waste collection processes, which involve managing invoicing, completing dispatch books, and following up with service providers to ensure compliance with environmental and company standards. The successful candidate will arrange and manage Oricol and Zee Paper collections in line with operational requirements. Additional administrative tasks include generating sales invoices, purchase orders, and gate passes as required. The position requires regular interaction with internal departments such as Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Production to ensure operational alignment and workflow efficiency. Supporting and guiding warehouse staff when required, as well as assisting with operational problem-solving, forms part of the daily responsibilities.

The qualification requirements for this position include a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate. Candidates must have two to three years’ experience within a warehouse, dispatch, or receiving environment. Experience working with ERP systems is required, with Syspro knowledge being preferred. Applicants should demonstrate sound knowledge of receiving documentation processes and inventory control principles. An understanding of transport regulations and Occupational Health and Safety standards is essential. Experience supervising or leading a small team will be advantageous, and a valid forklift licence will be an added benefit.
