TWK Agri is offering an opportunity for a Cashier within its Trade Division in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer payments, whether by cash or card, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly. Duties include computing and recording transactions using cash registers, calculators, or optical scanners, as well as establishing or identifying prices of goods and tabulating bills accurately. The Cashier will count money in cash drawers at the beginning of each shift to verify that correct amounts and sufficient change are available. Sorting, counting, and wrapping notes and coins form part of daily cash-handling responsibilities. The role also involves issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers and keeping periodic balance sheets reflecting transaction totals and amounts processed. In addition to transactional duties, the incumbent will greet customers entering the store, bag or wrap merchandise, prepare packages for shipment where necessary, and maintain a clean and orderly checkout area. The position further requires assisting with general store activities such as stocking shelves, marking prices on shelves and items, and participating in stock takes.

The qualification requirements for this position include a Matric / Grade 12 certificate. Candidates must be computer literate and have previous cashier experience. The ability to work confidently and accurately with money is essential, along with strong customer service skills.
