With more than 70 branches across the country, Auto Pedigree is seeking an honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible individual to fill the position of Driver/Cleaner at the Secunda branch. This role is essential in ensuring that vehicles are transported safely, maintained to high presentation standards, and delivered to customers in line with company procedures and legislative requirements.

The successful candidate will provide an effective transport service in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include delivering and collecting vehicles, documentation, goods, and occasionally customers to and from required destinations in a safe and professional manner. The role also requires cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors to the company’s high standards, ensuring that each vehicle is presented in excellent condition. Vehicle quality control is an important aspect of the position, which includes identifying and reporting expired license vehicles and any issues that do not meet quality standards. The Driver/Cleaner will be responsible for delivering vehicles to customers according to established procedures and for delivering and collecting documentation from banks, suppliers, and clients. Maintaining the cleanliness of the premises and upholding the integrity of the company by behaving ethically and safeguarding business assets are essential responsibilities. The incumbent may also be required to perform additional duties as requested.

The qualification requirements for this position include a Grade 12 certificate. Applicants must have two or more years of relevant driving experience. A valid Code 08 unendorsed driver’s licence and own transport are mandatory. Candidates must possess basic computer literacy skills and be fully bilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in English. The ability to read a map is required to ensure efficient navigation and timely deliveries.
