The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and manually removing plants that display undesirable characteristics from seed production fields, ensuring that only high-quality seed varieties are maintained. The incumbent will assist the team leader during the seed certification process, contributing to compliance with agricultural standards and quality requirements. The role also requires escalating any deviations identified in the seed production field, including safety concerns or irregularities, to the supervisor without delay. Reporting responsibilities include documenting safety deviations, providing updates on task progress, and maintaining consistent communication with the supervisor regarding work completed and any issues encountered.

The qualification requirements for this position include a Matric / Grade 12 certificate. Candidates must have experience working as a General Worker in a potato seed store environment, demonstrating familiarity with seed handling processes and agricultural operations. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for success in this role.
