The successful candidate will be responsible for loading customers’ vehicles, delivery trucks, and transfer trucks accurately and without delay. Ensuring that stock is properly stacked, counted, and handled with care is essential to prevent damage and maintain accurate inventory levels. The role includes assisting with pulling stock for transfers, reporting stock shortages and breakages promptly, and participating in perpetual stocktakes to support inventory accuracy. Maintaining a clean and organised work area is a critical responsibility, requiring regular sweeping and upholding good housekeeping standards to promote safety and efficiency. The incumbent will also assist customers with product queries, provide helpful service, and bag materials such as stone and sand when required. Performing additional work-related tasks as delegated by a superior forms part of the position’s operational flexibility.

To qualify for this role, applicants must have Matric or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar position is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to deliver excellent customer service and accurately count stock numerically. The role requires someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, while maintaining discipline and motivation. Effective verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and colleagues.
