The overall purpose of the position is to collect and deliver clients’ money safely while ensuring accurate proof of collection and delivery at all times.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for collecting and delivering clients’ money according to strict operational procedures. Duties include receiving, sorting, and distributing consignments, maintaining constant radio communication with controllers, and reporting any delays immediately to the Operations Manager. A strong focus on incident prevention and accurate reporting is essential, including taking preventative action against any suspicious activities. This position requires constant alertness, adherence to security protocols, and a commitment to safeguarding company and client assets.
The minimum requirements for this position include a clear criminal record and a clear disciplinary record. Applicants must be PSIRA accredited with at least a Grade C qualification and possess a valid Cash in Transit (CIT) certificate. Firearm competency with a minimum handgun qualification for business purposes is mandatory. Candidates must have at least two years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role, with prior experience within Fidelity Services Group considered advantageous. A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage. Applicants must be physically fit, able to work under pressure, and capable of performing duties in a demanding environment.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the role requires strict compliance with security standards and procedures. You will be expected to remain vigilant at all times, ensure quality assurance in all transactions, and uphold the highest standards of safety and accountability. Willingness to work overtime and travel when required is essential, as operational demands may vary.
